Norfolk RCC is an independent charity working with communities across Norfolk

Our Role is...

To help communities all the way from identifying needs to delivering solutions with friendly support and genuine expertise.

To provide a voice to rural communities to ensure that decisions on services, policies and strategies do not discriminate against them and adequately serve and reflect their needs.

To research, consult and develop initiatives to identify needs and solve the problems faced by our communities.

But we need your help....

Become a Member

We believe that if you are passionate about rural community issues you should be a Norfolk RCC member.

Membership supports our work with rural communities financially but importantly we use our membership as a way of gathering the views of rural communities that we can then feed into our work as the rural advocate for Norfolk. The larger our membership the greater the power of our argument that people should not be disadvantaged because of where they live in the county.

  • Norfolk RCC membership offers some specific benefits:
  • 20% discount on room booking
  • Discounts on all training and conferences
  • Quarterly newsletter ‘Signpost’
  • Email updates keeping you informed of rural issues and events
  • 10% discount on all pay services (back office support, printing, play inspections, web services…call for more details)
  • Invitations to special events to discuss rural issues

We offer two types of membership:

Full membership entitles the organisation or individual to vote at our AGM
Associate members are non-voting

Membership is open to individuals as well as voluntary, commercial and statutory organisations.

Make a Donation

We deliberately keep our membership fees low to allow as many individuals and organisations to join as possible but if you feel able to provide extra support we have a number of ways to allow you to do it.

One off donations

These can be done by:

  •  completing the membership form following the link below and sending a cheque
  • or by clicking here charities.everyclick.com/purchase
  • Regular giving by standing order. If you would like to give a regular amount, please contact us and we can provide you with a standing order form.

Payroll giving

If you are working and pay tax using the PAYE method you may like to donate through your employers payroll. Talk to your employer about this or contact us for more information.

Legacies

Your friends and family should be your first consideration in your Will but if you would like to support the wider community through our work we would be grateful for any legacy donations.

We would always recommend that you seek professional independent advice before completing a Will. We can provide you with a suggested wording for your legacy.

Utility Warehouse Community Fundraiser Logo

In these difficult times we can all feel the squeeze. Norfolk RCC is working with the Utility warehouse to support both you and our work. The Utility Warehouse currently provides phone, internet, mobile phone, gas and electricity services to over 250,000 customers throughout the UK. They are an established and reliable company that provide great value services and make life easy by producing a single, fully itemised monthly bill for all your household utilities.

The Utility Warehouse provides essential utilities to homes, businesses and even your village hall, including:

  • Landline & mobile phones
  • internet/broadband
  • gas & electricity

They use the collective buying power of hundreds of thousands of people to negotiate great discounts for their members. In addition they don’t use expensive advertising campaigns. They pass on the savings they make to their customers through low prices for their utilities.

Most of their services have no minimum term contracts so you can try them out risk-free

As a Utility Warehouse Community Fundraiser, Norfolk RCC will receive up to 5% of your bill every month for as long as you remain a customer of the Utility Warehouse, at no cost to you! So not only could you lower your bills but also help us continue to support you and your community.

When taking on a new service you need to evaluate all your options and make the choice that is best for your personal circumstances. However if you are looking for a supplier the Utility Warehouse are worth considering
