To book the village hall please contact the Bookings Clerk on 01553 630993.
Our hire rates are very competitive at only £10.00 per hour (as at September 2009). Copies of the terms and conditions of hire and the Hire Agreement can be obtained from the Booking Clerk.

What's New
- CAR BOOT SALE! We are holding a fundraising Car Boot Sale on Sunday 18 April 2010 from 10am-2pm. £5.00 per pitch.
- FUNDRAISING RACE NIGHT! We are holding a fundraising Race Night on Saturday 8 May 2010. More details to follow.
- SUMMER FAIR & DOG SHOW! We are holding a Summer Fair and Dog Show on Saturday 3 July 2010. More details to follow.

Facilities
The village hall has one large hall with a raised stage area at one end. There is a ramped entrance, as can be seen on the photograph, together with new disabled toilet facilities. There is a kitchen and separate bar area.
What's On
There are many different groups who use the village hall regularly throughout the year. The groups include the following:
- Leziate Youth Drop-in Centre
- West Norfolk Ringcraft - Dogs
- Short Mat Bowls
- West Norfolk Needleworkers
- Leziate WI
- Centre Stage Swing Band
- Bridge Club
- 8th King's Lynn Scout Group
- In-2-Stitch
- King's Lynn Art Club
- Leziate Parish Council

Other Information
The Village Hall has a Premises Licence for regulated entertainment, but NOT for the sale of alcohol. For events wanting the sale of alcohol, it is necessary for the hirer to apply for a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from the Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk (tel: 01553 616600). The TEN form together with the appropriate fee needs to be received by the Borough Council at least 10 working days for before the date of the event.
The Premises Licence permits the following maximum number of people, including staff, to be on the licensed premises (ie. Leziate, Ashwicken & Bawsey Village Hall) at any one time when used for:
(1) Dancing : 160
(2) Functions utilising seating at tables : 110
(3) Functions combining point (1) and (2) above : 115
(4) Closely seated audience : 170

I would just like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to Norfolk Rural Community Council who offered voluntary and community groups free one to one assistance to create a webpage within their website. As a result of spending 20 minutes with Mary from the Norfolk Rural Community Council, I have completely amazed myself and have put this webpage together. Let's hope people visit it and get some use from it. But even more importantly, let's hope we get some new committee members to help with the running of the village hall.
