introduction
Oulton Parish is a community of around 200 people situated some ten miles north west of Norwich and just a few miles to the west of Aylsham. Whilst the majority of homes are spread throughout the 15 square miles which the parish occupies, some 40 people live in The Street. At the centre of the parish is the former wartime RAF airfield. Much of the land in the parish is owned by the National Trust and is farmed.
The parish church of Sts Peter & Paul is one of the "Seven Churches" (http://www.sevenchurches.org.uk/) The rector, the Rev Stephen Morgan, lives in neighbouring Itteringham. Details of church services are given on both the church and parish notice boards.
