This is a new pilot project that aims to develop community owned and managed housing, which remains protected for local people. We want to work with poor and fuel charities (relief charities) that own land in Norfolk, within or just outside the village development envelope that could be suitable for affordable housing. Its current use might be agricultural land, wasteland or similar, but we are happy to advise you on what could be suitable.

By using charity land you could benefit your charity’s income through enhancing your assets as well as benefiting the community through the provision of affordable housing.

The people in housing need are the people you know. They might be the local dinner lady, maintenance man, care worker or policeman. Collectively they are the people rural communities rely on, and without them rural services are under threat.

We will be posting more details of the project shortly, but if you are interested in exploring the options for your charity please contact Samantha Jones for further information.
