General information
Further Exhibitions Proposed Regarding the Northern Distributor Road: The Norwich Northern Distributor Road (NDR) reaches a new stage this summer with a series of exhibitions proposed in June and July. Norfolk County Council has previously held informal consultations along the route, which have resulted in changes made to the proposals. The June/July exhibitions will display these latest proposals for the NDR, including the Postwick Hub Junction, ahead of a formal application for development consent.
The dates and venues of these exhibitions will be appearing on Norfolk County Council's website in the near future. Details of these can be viewed at this website location www.norfolk.gov.uk/tfn.
If you have any questions relating to the NDR these can be made by e-mailing norwich.transport@norfolk.gov.uk or telephoning 0344 800 8020"
ARE YOU LOOKING AFTER SOMEONE? Are you concerned about a neighbour and look in to check on their wellbeing, or perhaps do their shopping, or provide the odd hot meal? Or do you provide round the clock care for someone in your household who is ill or disabled, or elderly and frail? However little or much you do, there is a free handbook, a telephone helpline and a website that provides information on where you can get help to support the person you are concerned about or care for. Norfolk Carers Helpline is open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, and if you call them, they will send you a copy of the handbook. Tel: 0808 808 9876 (free from a landline). Or visit the Norfolk Carers Information website at http://www.norfolkcarersinfo.org.uk.
Highway Issues
To report any issues with potholes, either telephone the Highways Department on 0344 800 8020, email them at highways@norfolk.gov.uk, report online at https://online.norfolk.gov.uk/highways (you will be able to track progress through this too) or contact the Clerk. In all instances you will need the exact location of the pothole and its size and depth.

St Margarets Church
Welcome to … St Margaret’s Church, Stratton Strawless , a Church of England church is to be found on Parish Road, is a member of the Deanery of Sparham and Ingworth.
We are a part of the Benefice that includes Coltishall, Frettenham, Great Hautbois, Hainford and Horstead. Part of this ancient and distinctive church building dates back to Norman times but there have been sections rebuilt since the 15th century. With many interesting features, St Margaret’s Church has strong links with the Marsham family and is open daily for the benefit of visitors and walkers. Services include a celebration of Harvest Festival, a candlelit carol service and Midnight Mass at Christmas, and Evensong on the fourth Sunday of every month. An annual event called Bluebell Days, held over several days, is organised to raise money for Church funds and brings the village together with a strong sense of community. Parking is available in the yard of Church Farm opposite the church and you can be assured of a warm welcome when you come to visit us. Further details can be found on the website – www.achurchnearyou.com
