From Norfolk RCC
Background
I returned to Norfolk in 2005 to complete masters in Development Economics. It was in October 2005 that I joined the RCC working first as a grants officer before taking on my current role in April 2006. Prior to my masters I taught English as a foreign language in Poland. I have also worked as a professional fundraiser on behalf of (among others) Amnesty International and the British Red Cross. I have volunteered extensively with both the Scout Association and Students Union holding a number of executive committee roles. My undergraduate degree is in Politics Philosophy and Economics.
I was born in Norfolk and spent my early years in Mattishall attending the local first and middle schools (when they existed) and Neatherd High School in Dereham.
Interests
My interests are broad and wide so I'm not going to bore you. I have a number of academic interests that overlap with my NRCC work including knowledge transfer, transaction costs and institutional efficiency. I have recently become involved as a volunteer in the Mattishall first school site project see http://www.mattishall-pc.org.uk/ for the gory details!
