Background
From a small town on North coast of Scotland. Worked for UK Atomic Energy Authority (Apprentice Fitter & Turner), North of Scotland College of Agriculture (Lab Attendant), Royal Mail (Postman and various Union roles), before taking a few years out to study for a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics as a mature student. Since then I have worked for CAB, Julian Housing Support Trust, Shelter, and Ormiston Children & Families Trust mainly specialising in housing related support, advice and advocacy/representation.
Interests
Politics and social welfare issues in general, sport (watching rather than participating), listening to music, hi-fi.
Favourite Things
Celtic FC, lager and putting the world to rights, lazy weekends.
