Website authoring

As part of your publicity or as part of engagement and consultation you might want to consider establishing your own website.

Website authouring is often regarded as having some kind of mysterious and difficult element. Except for various clever nick-nacks (that are often surplus to requirements anyway) - this is totally untrue - it is, in fact, incredibly easy.

Probably the easiest (and free) tool to both construct and host a website is, once again, available on Google.

Google Page Creator is still under testing at Google Labs but is a free and fully functioning tool. If you have ever used Microsoft Powerpoint or any other slide presentation software, you will recognise how it works straight away.

To create new web pages you simply have to choose your template style.

Choose which layout you want for a given page.

Fill in your page.

Click 'Publish'

And your page is online - it really is that easy!
